Geocache
Treasure Hunting
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. People who enjoy geocaching come from all age groups and have a strong sense of community and support for the environment.
The Town of Mount Pleasant currently maintains four geocaches:
- Patriot’s Point Nature Trail multi-stage geocache
- Waterfront Memorial Park multi-stage geocache
- Kearn’s Park geocache
- Hamlin Park Trail geocache
