Mission


The mission of the Community & Government Affairs Office is to lead the Town’s efforts in fostering community-wide civic engagement. The Community & Government Affairs Office oversees the Business and Tourism Office and the Communications Office.

The Community & Government Affairs Office strives to involve more people through the exchange of information and ideas.

The Community & Government Affairs Office also seeks to strengthen the links between dialogue, decision-making, and actions, and increase the community’s capacity for collaboration.

The Community & Government Affairs Office will work with various Town departments, citizens, neighborhood associations, civic groups, faith organizations, business leaders, and non-profit entities to create community-wide conversations and foster collaborative partnerships that will lead to strong community relationships, a shared common identity, and a more engaged community.
